Personal Experiential Learning Experiences

Personal Experiential Learning Plan: Yoga

I created a PDF document of my personal experiential learning plan. This PDF is for viewing only and not for downloading or redistribution. The PDF beside is the final product of my experiential learning project. There are images within this document that do not belong to me. I am only showcasing this document as as part of what a potential student experiential learning project could turn into. I will use this plan to inform a unit or similar project with my students.

Personal Training Plan: Increasing My Mobility

Part of my vision for H&PE is to help students find meaningful connections to their experiences in my class. The PDF beside is an example of a personal training plan I went through in attempt to achieve a goal that was personally relevant and meaningful to me. This PDF is for viewing only and not for downloading or redistribution. There are images within this document that do not belong to me. I am only showcasing this document as as part of what a potential student personal training plan could turn into. I will use this plan to inform a unit or similar project with my students.

Exploring Meaningful Health & Physical Education through the InterActive for Life Project  and Social-Emotional Skill Development

In partnership with Rebecca Lloyd, Anika Littlemore, and the IAAL team we created a resource for teachers to help foster community connections in the classroom using the Function2Flow model, Social Emotional Learning Skills, and the curriculum concept relationship. The resource contains movement based games that can be done online, at-home, or in Health and Physical Education. The games can be adapted for various age groups. Find out more at function2flow.ca.
